Successful completion of this professional-level, self-guided, online course results in a five-year certification from the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association. The Approved Trainer is certified for five years to train anyone to perform urine specimen collections for federally regulated and unregulated drug-and-alcohol screening. The Approved Trainer also receives from NDASA learning materials and training-completion certificates to support their own instruction.

Become an Approved Trainer of Drug Test Collectors by the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association (NDASA).

This course meets the regulatory standards of United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Rule 49 CFR Part 40 and provides a solid foundation for training collectors for a wide range of testing programs. Approved Trainers also meet NDASA’s high industry standards and demonstrate proficiency in training others to perform urine specimen collections for federally regulated and unregulated drug and alcohol screening protocols.

Successful completion of this professional-level, online course:

  • certifies participants for five years to train anyone to become a certified Drug Test Collector
  • provides learning materials and certificates of training completion produced by the National Drug and Alcohol Association to support the Approved Trainer’s instruction of other professionals.
